About the Sauna

Deep, Dry Warmth

Our sauna surrounds you with dry heat in a calm, wood-lined room. The warmth gently raises your body temperature, helping tired muscles loosen and the mind settle into a peaceful, quiet state.

Compared with the steam room, the sauna is hotter but much drier, creating a clean, intense warmth. Many guests enjoy alternating between the two before continuing to their hammam ritual or massage.

Sauna FAQ

What is the difference between a sauna and a steam room?

A sauna uses dry heat at a higher temperature, while a steam room uses moist heat at a lower temperature with very high humidity. Both are relaxing, and many guests enjoy using them one after the other.

How long should I stay in the sauna?

Around 8 to 15 minutes per session is ideal. Listen to your body, leave if you feel uncomfortable and drink water between sessions.

How can I use the sauna?

The sauna is part of our Ottoman Sultan Hammam experience. Send us a message on WhatsApp to ask how you can include it in your visit.

Is the sauna suitable for everyone?

Heat is not recommended during pregnancy or for guests with heart conditions, high or low blood pressure or other health concerns. Avoid the sauna after drinking alcohol, and check with your doctor if you are unsure.
